Ted Talks Inspirational video review
This talk is simply about autism and the way in which it frees people to be who they truly want to be. I stumbled upon this video on the website Ted.com. I watched it and immediately thought that I needed to share it and then I realised that I need an inspirational video to post, so I am glad that I found it. It is incredibly inspirational, the personal experiences that the girl brings forward are eye opening for anyone to start understanding autism and how important it is for us not to put everyone into 'a little box with specific labels'. It brings awareness to autism and how they feel and how they see things also. It's frequent to see websites and videos educating people on autism, this should be more popular and I'm glad that Ted Talks promotes this along with so many other videos that express many important and versatile subjects and topics. Versatility has always been an issue with society, people don't like stereotypes but yet place certain groups of people in hypothetical boxes with stereotypical judgments. This girl talks about how autism makes her mind work, which is a clear insight and makes us think outside the norms. Which definitely helped me to understand it a little bit more at least. This has been put on my blog because I feel that if it helped me comprehend autism a little bit more, then it could possibly teach and help others too, which is an advantage.
